Museum Ras
The Museum “Ras” is the regional museum of Novi Pazar, housed in a handsome mid-19th-century Oriental-style building and holding more than six thousand objects across history, archaeology, numismatics, ethnology and art.
Why it matters
It is the single best place to grasp the whole sweep of this land in one visit — Iron Age spears and jewellery, Roman and medieval finds from the Ras region, and the everyday material culture of the Sjenica–Pešter highlands. The permanent display is arranged chronologically, so you can walk the ten thousand years in order.
